Are you a double standard environmentalist? That's someone who makes all the green choices at home but walks by the garbage bin full of recycleables everyday at work and turns a blind eye. 

It may feel like there's nothing you can do about your employer's lack of social responsibility or maybe you're thinking 'There's gotta someone working on this'.  But what if everybody else is thinking the same and nobody's pressuring the big-wigs to take responsibility for their environmental impact. 

Take it upon yourself to propose environmental initiatives at work.  At the very least, recycling programs should be in  every place of business in Toronto.  If your employer is still not recycling, open up a conversation at the next company meeting or bring the issue up with your superior.  Start an 'Environmental Responsibility Commitee' to take employee suggestions and introduce green initiative in your work-place. 

Take action! Don't be a double-standard environmentalist!
